Cruz and Kasich team up to stop Trump

After largely ignoring each other for most of the campaign, other than Texas Sen. Ted Cruz‘s recent calls for Ohio Gov. John Kasich to exit the race, the two remaining candidates who are not businessman Donald Trump have decided to team up, at least temporarily, to prevent the frontrunner from getting to the necessary 1,237 delegates needed for the Republican nomination.
