Never Trump candidate McMullin misses Wyoming ballot

Independent conservative presidential candidate Evan McMullin has failed to qualify for the Wyoming presidential ballot, as his campaign did not submit enough valid signatures to secure a spot.

To qualify for the Wyoming ballot, candidates needed to hand in 3,302 valid signatures by an Aug. 29 deadline. The McMullin campaign submitted roughly 5,500 signatures, but too few were valid for McMullin to qualify, according to the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office.
