How Is Scott Walker Like Reagan? He’ll Tell You

Just before 8 a.m. on Feb. 6, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin went on Twitter to wish a happy 22nd anniversary to “my lovely bride Tonette,” and included a wedding photo of the couple in gown and tails. An hour later on Twitter, Mr. Walker posted a photo of another object of his affection: “Today,” he wrote, “is the 104th anniversary of President Ronald Reagan’s birth!”

That same evening, the Walkers celebrated by traveling to Eureka College in Illinois, Reagan’s alma mater, where the governor delivered a 30-minute speech about the kinship he felt with the former president.

Jeb Bush, Scott Walker lead competitive GOP presidential field in New Hampshire

Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are leading a competitive GOP presidential race in New Hampshire, which hosts the first-in-the-nation primary contest, according to a presidential poll released this week.

Mr. Walker and Mr. Bush each carried 15 percent of the respondents in the Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll of likely voters.

They were followed by Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, 13 percent; New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, 10 percent,; and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 7 percent.
